Would you like to sample fine cuisine at reasonable prices? That's the challenge taken up byAspic , the restaurant of chef Quentin Giroud! A restaurant on a human scale, with cuisine of incomparable quality, let's take a look at this restaurant with an innovative concept...
Quentin Giroud, an exceptional chef
Before opening L'Aspic, for seven years, Quentin Giroud devoted himself to finance, but he always kept one foot in the kitchen, which was both a passion and an outlet. He spent his free time testing dishes and restaurants... It didn't take much for him to decide to take the plunge and enroll at the Ferrandi School.
With his CAP (vocational training certificate) in hand, he gained solid experience, starting at L'Epi Dupin and then at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he discovered the classics, French-style presentation, and the true taste of tradition.
He then left for London and the Clove Club, a Michelin-starred restaurant, followed by an experience as a private chef, which gave him the opportunity to express himself and offer his cuisine with complete freedom.
Back in Paris, he looked for a place to settle down and found this location on Rue de la Tour d'Auvergne, where he opened his first restaurant: ASPIC.
Aspic, gourmet dishes for everyone
At Aspic, you can choose from a seven-course tasting menu with seven courses. The goal? "To guarantee the freshness of what we offer and to prioritize the culinary experience."
When you make your reservation, you will be asked about any allergies or dietary requirements so that we can be sure not to make any mistakes. All dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients and there is only one menu, which varies according to the ingredients available and the chef's inspiration.
The single menu has the advantage of avoiding food waste and encouraging fast service, something that is greatly appreciated at Aspic.
The menu is very original, fresh, and balanced: the quality of the food is evident, and it is full of surprises. The cooking is masterfully done, and the combination of flavors is extraordinary.
Here are some dishes that will make your mouth water:
The much-appreciated food and wine pairing
Customers agree that the food and wine pairing at Aspic is exceptional. Each wine is presented through its own story, and the staff adapts and suggests the wine that best suits the customer's preferences.
In addition, Aspic has chosen theCASTALIE microfiltered water because it is the best water for pairing with wine, a neutral water of choice that brings out all the flavors of food and wine.

The Atmosphere of Aspic
The simplicity and understated style of the place make it a peaceful, calm spot where life is good. While the place may not look like much, people come to Aspic for the food, not the surroundings. Aspic has limited seating, an open kitchen close to the dining room, and a real presence from the chefs, who are the ones serving up their creations.
With a tasting menu that changes every week, he wants to be able to explain his dishes directly, based on the ingredients and combinations.
The staff are always attentive and smiling, and the good rapport between them is reflected in the dishes and the atmosphere.
An original concept with a dining room manager who is also a mixologist! With cocktails created for the restaurant, Parisian beer, and 100% French spirits, Aspic is a place where you can discover new products. Wines are not forgotten, but are produced by winemakers who respect the vines and nature.
