As part of European Waste Reduction Week and the circular economy bill, CASTALIE Comet Meetings announce the result of their collaboration: the complete elimination of plastic water bottles from Comet meeting and seminar venues in Paris.

CASTALIE, a French social and solidarity economy start-up, offers a sustainable alternative to bottled water for businesses, cafes, hotels, and restaurants. Thanks to its zero-waste solutions (eco-designed micro-filtrationwater fountains, reusablewater bottles and flasks), CASTALIE prevented the consumption of 22 million plastic bottles since the beginning of 2019.
The goal: to eliminate 100 million plastic bottles over the next two years!
A lasting collaboration
CASTALIE for two years with Comet Meetings, an innovative player in the corporate real estate sector specializing in meetings and seminars.
The result: more than 300,000 plastic water bottles saved per year across all four Comet Meetings locations in Paris.
The CASTALIE solution CASTALIE seen strong growth at Comet Meetings, both through water fountains and zero-waste accessories:
- The first Comet Meetings building was equipped with water coolers in September 2017.
Today, 15 water coolers are installed throughout the Comet Meetings property portfolio. - On the other hand, CASTALIE bottles CASTALIE now available in each of the 80 Comet Meetings meeting rooms, whereas previously they were only available in catering areas.
