On October 15, the forecourt of Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital was transformed into a pop-up restaurant. On the initiative ofthe Croq'l'Espoir association, a day was organized to offer a moment of respite and gourmet treats to hospitalized children and their caregivers. Castalie a partner in this operation, which places sharing at the heart of its commitment.

A chef's kitchen located in the heart of the hospital

The logistical challenge was considerable: bringing haute cuisine as close as possible to the children.

Thanks to a mobile kitchen set up for the occasion, 150 meal trays were prepared and served. An exceptional menu was made possible by the volunteer efforts of 10 chefs who donated their time and talent, including Michel Roth, Arnaud Faye, Angelo Musa, Christophe Raoux, Eric Guérin, Bastien Amiard, and others.

The aim of this day is simple: to provide a break from a daily routine often dominated by medical care. For both children and families, this meal becomes a moment of escape, gastronomic discovery, and shared pleasure, far from the usual medical context.

Croq’L’espoir’s commitment: gastronomy as support

Since its creation in 2011, the Croq’l’Espoir association has been committed to improving the daily lives of sick children. It uses gastronomy as a lever to bring comfort and finance projects within hospitals. These events are highlights that bring together food professionals around a common cause and remind us of the importance of these moments of joy.

Castalie 's contribution Castalie a simple gesture for hydration

At Castalie, we firmly believe that commitment requires concrete action. Partnering with Croq’L’espoir for this event was therefore a no-brainer.

Each meal was accompanied by a bottle of Castalie water. The chefs chose this water to ensure that the children enjoyed a complete taste experience. Thanks to its neutral taste, Castalie water Castalie out the flavors of the dishes without altering them, allowing the children to enjoy them to the full.

This day perfectly illustrates how pooling energies can lead to meaningful results. Congratulations to the Croq’L’espoir teams and chefs for their commitment and this timeless event.
