Our history and impact
In 2011, Thibault Lamarque
created CASTALIE
After studying at Paris Dauphine University and writing a thesis on access to drinking water in developing countries, Thibault worked at the Veolia group for 4 years. He then joined AlterEco, a leader in fair trade in Europe. Driven by his passion for water, as well as a desire to strike out on his own and have more of an impact, he founded CASTALIE in 2011. His goal? To offer a replacement solution to businesses so that our drinking choices are no longer governed by habit or convenience.
In France, 25 million plastic bottles are thrown away every day. Our mission is to put an end to this culture by offering an alternative to bottled water.
